The Adam A-700 is a modern American civil airliner in a low wing configuration, with a landing gear retracted in flight. The plane was flown in 2003, and design works were completed in 2009. The drive is provided by two Williams FJ-33-4A turbofan engines.
The A-700 was developed at Adam Aircraft Industries, almost in parallel with the A-500. To a large extent, it was also based on it, because both structures have approx. 80% of common elements and subassemblies. The A-700, like the A-500, is characterized by a very unusual aerodynamic system using two tail booms. It was assumed that it would be able to carry up to six passengers over a distance of up to 2,600 kilometers. Due to financial problems and the bankruptcy of the manufacturer in 2008, the work on the A-700 that was about to be completed was questioned, but the new owner decided to complete it and obtain the required certifications. Despite this, the machine did not enter serial production, and work on it was discontinued.
